Gurdwara Sikh Sangat serves as a religious gathering place for Sikhs and those interested in Sikhism. As the Sikh community in the North Texas area grew, a need was felt to create a congregation place for Sikhs in the western part of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex, leading to the opening of the Gurdwara Sikh Sangat in October 2000. The Sangat (congregation) of the Gurdwara Sahib grew rapidly as the congregation members and their families strove to realize their rich faith and culture – leading to the construction of a new, larger building in 2017. Gurdwara Sikh Sangat, the temple's official name, aims to serve the area's growing Sikh community.
Euless Gurdwara Sikh Sangat has been working with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to provide fresh fruit, vegetables, and other uncooked vegetarian food to lower income families since May of 2019.
